And today we’re going to explore that through talking about food with someone who teaches and writes about authentic Italian cuisine, right here in the Fraser Valley.

Back in 2003, my guest today emmigrated from a tiny village in Italy to Canada. And soon after, from her home base in Walnut Grove, she started her business by teaching lasagna classes to home cooks who wanted to take their Italian home cooking up a notch. She has now authored a beautiful cookbook with recipes from her home, and teaches in Vancouver at the Italian Cultural Centre, as well as other locations around the lower mainland and here in the Fraser Valley.
